It was only the other day where I thought to myself (after ordering one amazing pastel coloured fur coat from Boohoo and another pink teddy bear coat from Missguided...) how awesome sportswear would be from those sites.
Yesterday, on my way home from work I was randomly flicking through my Instagram, on fashion store profiles, ogling at clothes which I can't afford - and - funnily enough - there it was - on Boohoo's Instagram; a picture of a black sports bra and matching leggings with the word, 'FIT,' in bold, wrapping across and underlining the image: "Are you ready? Coming soon boohooFIT." A big smile took over my face. I know that Boohoo is quite similar to Missguided and thought, 'if they're doing it, maybe Missguided is too.' I quickly searched for Missguided and there it was - another launch photo for Missguided Active.
Both companies are jumping on the fitness bandwagon along with the likes of Primark, Bershka and H&M (who have had a activewear since 2013).
Victoria Betts, marketing and trading director at Missguided, said: “We have seen growing interest from consumers in clothing that is both functional and fashionable, and Missguided Active has been launched to meet this demand.
“The Missguided customer is a confident, stylish and fun and our new Active range embodies the same playful attitude as the mainline collection.”
Boohoo already has their FIT collection on the site and Missguided's collection is set to be released January the 20th. I am so excited to see what they bring out. Since university I've really taken to online shopping;you can find everything and more, it's much cheaper than the shops and it's less likely someone else will have what you buy. Plus, if you're a little cheeky like me - there's always an online discount code floating about! The Missguided Active collection, which includes 53 pieces of vibrant prints, pastel colours and mesh statement pieces, will cost from £9 - £20 and Boohoo's collections is currently ranging from £2- £20 also (Bargain eh?!).
